About Sunday School

- Established in 1997, Barrie Mosque Sunday School is a non-profit institution dedicated to providing quality Islamic education in alignment with the Quran and Sunnah. Operating from September to June on Sundays from 10am to 2pm, our volunteer-driven initiative caters to children aged 6 and above.
- Our curriculum is designed to help students achieve various learning outcomes, including understanding fundamental Islamic beliefs, living Islam in the modern context, and fostering respect, responsibility, and cooperation.
- With a focus on critical thinking and the proper role of thinking in relation to revelation and acquired knowledge, our curriculum encourages students to develop strong analytical skills and appreciate true Islamic scholarship. Through engaging lessons and real-life activities, we strive to empower students to embody Islamic values and contribute positively to society.
